Hi my names Naomi and I'm 32 years young!
I first come across Hartbeeps about six years ago when some of my little charges booked on to attend happy house in Wimbledon. I couldn't believe my eyes at all the things that kept on coming out the bags! It really did start a weekly highlight for me and the children, an a pace of me recommending it forward when I moved on to other families. We simply had a blast every week with the teacher there, an although it did cross my mind at the time about working with them, my sensible head was on as I was comfortable in my life routine at that time ….an unsure if I was sparkly enough!
As fete had it , my little sister ( a performer starting to tread the boards ) was looking for work in-between auditions and managed to start working with Hartbeeps south west London after seeing an ad in the stage. Now, fast forward six years an Im proud to say she is now the owner of this lovely branch and unfortunately for me, my boss haha! She had regularly tried to rope me in and at times succeeded at many events, to the point I thought I really should start getting paid for this..
2020
Lockdown hit and as Katie was worrying about holding on to her business due to staff having to find other work and her then potentially returning too soon from maternity or disappoint customers. I just knew then that it was in my stars to try and pursue a Hartbeeps career as I'd always longed to. After much training and revision myself and Victoria decided to team up to put on some Christmas sessions in cobham . We were thrilled they where a success and it gave me a real confidence kick and exciting buzz like no other job I've ever had before. But sadly ….lock down hit again!
As frustrating as this was it gave me plenty of time to reflect on what I wanted to do in life and how to spend my time. I decided to take part time hours in Sainsbury's as I couldn't sit at home on my hands and trained trained trained through the Hartbeeps material focusing on a relaunch date with Katie in April. Since then I have not looked back …Hartbeeps makes me really happy, with so much variety , its hard to keep up with the evolving scripts some weeks so impossible to get bored.
Although I sometimes wish I started in Hartbeeps earlier in life…(as these knees are not what they used to be.) I never see my years of nannying and working in a nurseries as wasted years but instead they actually form such a solid foundation for my working with children now. It's been an absolute pleasure to laugh, sing , dance and see you guys weekly as your little ones grow in front our very eyes.
I'm really looking forward to what the next few years have in store for me with HartbeepsSSCM as I step into full time work running sessions in Wallington, Kingswood, Cheam and Cobham.
P.S I'm also available for casual babysitting gigs /evenings/weekends! (Enhanced DBS an Level3 childcare/ and first aid.

Hartbeeps SS&CM
Hey! My name is Victoria and I've just turned 31!
I discovered Hartbeeps in 2017 when I first took my nephew to one of Katies sessions! I so surprised at all the quirky dress up and catchy songs and Where did all these props keep coming from? I loved how much my nephew was so engaged with Katie throughout the whole session and when it had finished didn't want to leave!
Being Musical theatre trained (Brit school) and part of a musical theatre academy since the age of 3, Ive performed in some Westend shows and Pantos growing up, experiencing Hartbeeps really took me back to how exciting the world of imagination can be! I was keen to know more but my confidence had slipped and I was focusing on my Back of house job at Wimbledon theatre operating the spot lights!
Fast forward 2020
So due to Covid, my job at Wimbledon theatre meant I had been put on furlough and left me wondering what my next steps should be. Now my good friend Katie, whom I met through Brit school approached me and asked if I would team up with Naomi to support the Christmas sessions, I thought this would be a great opportunity to experience the other side and I absolutely fell in love and realised it allows me to use my musical theatre skills and training as well as finding my confidence again in something that I absolutely love! PERFORMING!
Fast forward a year and here we are! Ready for the next chapter!
