Hi, I'm Kim and I own the Hartbeeps Franchise for Brighton, Hove, Shoreham & Eastbourne & surrounding areas.
I absolutely love what Hartbeeps is all about, and enjoy being in sessions with all of the little Hartbeepers so much.
As a new mum, I tried numerous baby classes but none were quite as inspiring and enjoyable as Hartbeeps. After moving to Eastbourne from London I realised there were no classes quite like Hartbeeps and made the decision to change careers and bring this sensory journey to the area.
Hartbeeps brings something original through its use of props, puppetry and special effects. It allows adults and their little ones to get lost in the wonderful Hartbeeps world by dressing up, singing, dancing and so much more. It's a wonderful sensory explosion for you and your child.
Each session is truly engaging, great fun, and every week follows a different sound journey theme so there is no chance of ever getting bored!
It's also a great way to meet other mums and dads in the area. I look forward to you coming to Hartbeeps very soon.
Let the Hartbeeps magic begin!
Kim xx
Hello everyone, I'm Annmarie
Mummy to two beautiful boys who are 9yrs and 6yrs and my cocker spaniel who is my baby girl and the boys big sister, she's 10yrs. I grew up in Brighton, and now live in Portslade with my family.
I found Hartbeeps when my big O was 2yrs and if I'm honest I've never looked back. I loved the classes (taught by Kim back then in Hove) so when Kim did a shout out asking if anyone was interested in joining the team, I jumped at the chance and left the 9-5 HR world behind! That was nearly 8 years ago now!
I then went on to have my little O, and whilst on maternity leave from Hartbeeps, I attended as a Mummy doing Bells and Beeps which really was a highlight for both of us.
Pre Motherhood, I trained in Musical Theatre, London. I performed in hotel shows abroad, cabarets, both in London and locally in Brighton too. I was also lucky enough to work at Disneyland Paris, dancing and performing in the parades.
After my performing days came to an end, I decided to retrain as a Beauty/Massage Therapist, which I do when I'm not teaching Hartbeeps. (Hence all the nice smells in class). I'm also a lover of crystals, seaglass and a good cup of tea!
My favourite Hartbeeps song has to be "Inanay" (the baby massage song) as it's the song I sing every night to my little O. It's just so beautiful and calming.
I really look forward to welcoming you and your little one into my Hartbeeps class soon and to all my regular Grownups thank you for making my job so special.
Lots of sparkles and hugs
Annmarie
Hi Hartbeeper’s I am Jemma
I take classes at the lovely Shoreham centre. I am originally from Bristol but husband and I moved to the coast in 2021 after having our first daughter so we could be closer to family.
I am a mum to a 4 old, Lila, and 1 1/2 year old Kaia. Lila was a lockdown baby and Hartbeeps was one of the first classes we attended. We both fell in love with it and I couldn’t be happier to be an imaginator
I have been a performer since a young age and attended a performing arts collage and the academy of contemporary music. I started teaching young children in 2011 and have since gained my Early Years Education degree ( I wouldn’t recommend writing a dissertation with morning sickness, but it is do-able)
I have a cat called Suki which reminds me of Dexter from Happy House.
My favourite song is ‘wriggle my fingers’, my daughters still love the ‘inanay’ massage at bedtime.
Hope to see you at classes soon in Shoreham.
Jemma
Hello!
I’m Katie, I live in Southwick with my husband and 2 beautiful boys, 6.5 years & 2.5years, as well as our Pug Teddy who is 9!
I grew up in Hove spending most of my days playing in Hove Park and watching my dad play Rugby for Hove before moving to Southwick.
I started with Hartbeeps in November 2023 after being a Police Officer for 10 years. I left the Policing world as I wanted to spend more time with my family and do something fun!
I started taking my eldest to Hartbeeps classes from when he was 6 weeks old and still take my youngest so you may see me at classes with him!
One of my passions is exercise and keeping fit. In ‘lockdown’ I started doing online strength classes. I also set my self a challenge to run the couch to 5K as I couldn’t even run for 30 seconds. Now I run every week & am currently training for my 4th half marathon (not quite brave enough for a full marathon just yet!).
I absolutely LOVE cake & hot chocolate (with all the trimmings). I always have to have some whipped cream in my fridge at all times! I am a massive foodie and have a major sweet tooth!
I love to travel & go on holidays. I love the sun but I especially love the winter when I can wrap up warm (and have a hot chocolate of course)!
See you soon in class at Brighton Girls or Yellowave on a Friday.
Katie
Hi Hartbeepers, my name is Charlie
I am originally from Margate in Kent but moved down to Hailsham at the end of 2019
I live with my partner Dale, our two year old son, Lincoln and our little dog, Penny.
I started taking Lincoln to Hartbeeps when he was just 7 weeks old and we both absolutely loved it and continued through bells, beeps and happy house.
At the time I was on maternity leave from my job in retail admin and when my leave came to an end I just wasn’t ready to leave him yet! So we were fortunate enough for me to reassess and have a few more months at home with him.
When he was 13 months the job to become an imaginator came up and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made because I absolutely love it.
I am a big fan of musicals and music in general. I also play guitar so sing a lot just around the house which definitely helps at Hartbeeps.
I’ve been with Hartbeeps for almost a year now and love bringing magic and memories to you and your little ones every week.
Along with musicals I am also a big fan of formula one, reading, and anything crafty.
I run classes in Eastbourne & Hailsham and hope to see you there soon.
Charlie xx
