Hello, my name is Katie and I run Hartbeeps 'Wallington, Chessington & Molesey.' Wallington classes have recently launched in January2018 and I am loving sharing Hartbeeps with the local community and am so grateful for its warm welcome to the area.
My journey started with Hartbeeps in 2015 when I laid eyes on an exciting looking job advertisement via the Stage website as I eagerly hunted for performance opportunities. As a performing arts graduate from Roehampton University and a Musical theatre graduate from The Brit School I was looking for a job that would allow me to exercise my performance skills and keep me in tune with a live audience for auditions. With previous experience in nannying roles, running holiday clubs for children and as a teaching assistant I already knew that I had a real love for little ones and helping them develop through play and performing arts; their minds are just so fascinating! Never did I imagine back then that I would end up becoming a franchisee myself!
Before launching my own Hartbeeps venture, I started leading sessions and birthday parties for the South West London branch and was blown away with the structure and variety of sessions that Hartbeeps have to offer. The babies, the parents and myself were all having a great time in the sessions creating a real uplifting atmosphere between us!Furthermore, If I wasn't already completely sold the cherry on the cake arrived in February 2017 when I became a mummy! From then, I saw first-hand as a parent/participant how lovely the sessions were. To bond with my son and do something that was really enjoyed by us both was something we looked forward to eagerly every week. It was OUR time out of reality to have fun hanging out in baby land. Fletcher has now just turned 1 year and still a regular Hartbeeper!
Look forward to meeting you...
Best wishes & Magic sprinkles

Sophie has had a passion for performing from a very early age. She has trained in many disciplines including ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre. Over the years she has gained various grades from ISTD, RAD and LAMDA. She graduated from Millennium Performing Arts gaining a level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre. Here she found her passion was not only performing but also teaching. She enjoys the fun and different characters and adventures that Hartbeeps explores, giving the children new experiences every week.
"I was happy to be able to join the family and be part of the adventures at Hartbeeps I love the variety the sessions offer and love to use my performance skills to bring a magical immersive atmosphere to the sessions I run. Its such a pleasure to see the little ones grow to recognise the music activities and learn whilst having so much fun!" - Sophie Catherine (Class Leader)
