Hi there!
I'm Louisa, A.K.A. Mummy to my fabulous son aged 4 and gorgeous daughter aged 1.
For the last 12 years I have worked as a primary school teacher, teaching from The Early Years, right up to Year 6. During this time I have also been a Deputy Head Teacher and a Leading Literacy Teacher for Hertfordshire, with my special interest being using The Performing Arts to inspire children to write creatively!
I have also taught drama classes to ages 4 to 16 year olds and have loved directing whole school musicals such as Alice in Wonderland.
My favourite thing about being a teacher is singing funny songs with actions with my class to help us learn everything and anything!
Since being a Mummy I have taken my children to a variety of great baby and toddler groups. However, when we first went to Hartbeeps we were blown away at its mesmerising and captivating music and fun usage of puppets, props and dressing up. As a Mummy I have found a group that I enjoy as much as my children do and as a teacher I am astounded at how multi-sensory and developmental Hartbeeps is for babies and children.
I had been looking to work with babies and toddlers for a while so when the opportunity to franchise Hartbeeps arose, I jumped at the chance!
So, I now find myself excitedly starting my new career as a Hartbeeps teacher in St Albans and cannot wait to take new parents, babies and children into the magical world of Hartbeeps!
